Genuflect
Their sound is pure adrenaline. With heavy guitars and aggressive vocals; GENUFLECT is raw, powerful delivery. After thousands of years of murder with the intent of genocide, the lyrical focus of GENUFLECT lashes out against those who aim to commit violence in the name of any and all religions. 1. How do you compare Genuflect to Reveille and 7th Rail Crew? Genuflect is similar to Reveille and 7th Rail Crew but with more of a heavy edge to it. The sound still hard rock and metal with a hip hop influence, but more hardcore than our previous bands. There is a militant theme behind Genuflect that is a call for action, there is a message that MUST be conveyed. 2. How and when did you hear about Concerts4Charity, Inc ? Concerts for Charity emailed us and asked us to play a gig. Since it was for a good cause, we agreed. 3. If you could support two causes or organizations, what would they be? There are so many causes to stand behind that this question is impossible to answer. If we could cure cancer or aids, we obviously would. We want people to get out there and get involved in their communities, and to help those who are in less fortunate situations. Communication, collaboration, and education are all powerful weapons. 4. Have you showed signs of goodwill or participated in any charity events in the past? We are pleased to be playing this show and helping to promote and donate to a good cause. We have only played a handful of shows so far as a full band, but we have headlined a muscular dystrophy benefit, and plan to do a lot more charity benefits as we continue putting on shows. 5. If you could create a program that would improve your community, what would it be? An educational program designed to bring together feuding religious cultures and factions through the indoctrination of modern science. 6. Where do you see the band in 5 years? Out there pushing our message and doing whatever it takes to get our point across. As Mark Twain once said, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."
