Loki

Like a locus that only thrives every eight years, so comes along a band that defies catagorization. Fierce yet melodic guitar riffs, truthful lyrics, bone shaking rhythms, and a melting pot of influence combine in a sound that can only be described as "LOKI". Based in New England, Loki was originally formed by (J.T.) Jon Taylor and Jonathan Boyer in early 2000 at the University of Southern Maine, Gorham. After recording their debut EP "Finity" in 2001, LOKI made a conscious decision to create hard rock that hooked and related, resulting in both 2002's debut full length "Born" and 2004's "Firelight" LP's. LOKI, named after the Norse God of mischief & change, has always found themselves in a flow of challenge and perserverance allowing them to outlive many of the bands the've come up with. With the strongest lineup to date, they have awoken something in their technical & passionate performances, receiving acclaim from critics, fans, and musicians alike.
