Civil Disturbance

Civil Disturbance was born in April of 2003, and has gone through many changes since that time. As the line-up changed throughout the years, so did their music, and they were eventually able to discover the sound they had always been searching for. Musically, Civil Disturbance has evolved with a sound that delivers a raw edge, while hitting you with a melodic hook at the same time. They are always looking to progress, however, and if the past is any indication of the future, expect them to continue taking giant leaps forward. The year 2007 turned out to be a big year for this band, as Civil Disturbance landed a mutual sponsorship with Monster Energy and the local Monster representatives. They also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with two national acts, Tantric and Joey Belladonna (the former lead singer for Anthrax). In June, they released their full-length, debut album, "The Battle Within," which can not only be purchased at any one of their shows, but also, at any Bull Moose location in the state of Maine. Also in June, Civil Disturbance was named one of the top 12 semi-finalists for the 2007, 105.1WTOS Battle of the Bands, with their submission, "Comfortable Destruction." On August 12th, after being voted by the people (WTOS listeners) as one of the 4 finalists for this contest, they competed with these 3 other bands in a live performance in front of 4,000 plus people, and were subsequently named the 2007 WTOS Battle of the Bands Champions. Civil Disturbance (Matt, Tifft, Kris, Nikko and Dan) would like to extend their appreciation to all of their friends and fans ("Civil" Insurgents), who are undoubtedly the backbone of this band. Their fan base is constantly growing and they truly admire all the support they have received, and continue to receive, from everyone. The members of Civil D have put their hearts and souls into this band, and they thank you for giving them yours.
